Nato nel 1953
ha iniziato
l'attività giornalistica nel
1980 per il quotidiano "Paese Sera",
nella redazione di Firenze.
Per diversi anni in Africa poi in
Australia ha lavorato in Medio
Oriente e Balcani. Ha collaborato con le
agenzie delle Nazioni Unite e
facendo reportage e articoli per "La
Repubblica", L'Universo", "La
Nazione", "L'Unione Sarda" e altri
giornali e agenzie.
Ha pubblicato i volumi "Mozambico: da
emergenza a sviluppo" (1989) per
il Ministero degli Affari Esteri
Italiano, il volume "Io c'ero...I was
there..."
(FAN editrice - 1996) per il
trentennale dell'alluvione di
Firenze; "4 Novembre 1966. L'alluvione a
Firenze"
(Ibiskos Editrice Risolo - 2006);
"Elogio della bistecca. Dalla chianina
alla tavola" (Ibiskos Editrice Risolo -
2008)
.
Attualmente è direttore
responsabile dell'agenzia di
informazione CatPress, editrice delle
riviste web Florence ART News, Blue
Planet, Fotoreporter On Line e
di vari speciali quali Firenze:
l'alluvione di 30 anni dopo, Mozambico,
immagini di un paese africano, Kuwait,
era l'inferno, Rifugiati dal
Kosovo e altri.
Dal 1999 al 2005 è stato giornalista responsabile del sito
web del progetto "Le Città
Sostenibili delle Bambine e dei
Bambini", progetto del Ministero
dell'Ambiente. Dal 2005 al 2007, per il progetto Child Inclusion UE, è stato giornalista responsabile del
portale. Ambedue i progetti erano affidati all''Istituto degli Innocenti di Firenze.
E' redattore delle testate on line "IdI Notizie" dell'Istituto degli
Innocenti e Minori.it
del Centro nazionale di documentazione e
analisi per l'infanzia e l'adolescenza di Firenze.

He
was born in 1953 and started his

(1989) for the Italian Ministery of
Foreign Affairs; the book "Io
c'ero...I was there..." (FAN editrice -
1996) for the thirtieth
anniversary of the Florence flood; the
book "4th November 1966. The flood in
Florence" (Ibiskos Publisher Risolo - 2006); and the book
"Elogio della bistecca. Dalla chianina
alla tavola" ("In Praise of the Steak.
From Chianina Cattle to the Dish") (Ibiskos Publisher
Risolo
- 2008).
He is head editor of the News Agency

Children) of the Italian
Ministery of the Environment.
In 2005 he was journalist of the web site of
the EU project Child Inclusion.
Both projects have been managed by Istituto degli Innocenti of
Florence, Italy
